Club offers

A model Jaguar has been released every year to celebrate the club. Each model is presented on a Black Perspex base, with polished edges and rounded corners. Each base is laminated with a Satin Black overlay. This incorporates in Silver, the JMC club logo, text, and relevant text describing the model. All the JMC models are Limited to 50 Worldwide, this is verified by the limited edition number on the bases, plus the corresponding Certificate.

1997
We produced a XJR Supercharged Saloon in Ice Blue Metallic with Nimbus Grey interior, it had a registration plate : JMC 1. This was built in either Left or Right hand drive, depending on the members wishes.

1998
We produced the last V12 E-type Series 3 produced, and retained by Jaguar Cars, HDU 555N. This model also included on the base, a perfect copy of the Brass Plate secured to the glove box of the last 50 V12 E-types produced, including Sir William Lyons signature.

1999
We produced the gorgeous XK180 Concept Jaguar, the club approached the SVO dept. ( Special Vehicles Operations ) at Jaguar Cars, Coventry.
Always trying to improve the club, and the yearly club model. We proceeded to secure the signatures of the Principal stylist : Keith Helfet, and the Project Manager :Gary Albrighton.
I must at this point thank Gary Albrighton, who was, and is, a credit to Jaguar Cars. He invited me and a friend down to the factory, and helped make the 1999 club models possible. I asked Gary if he could make the models special in anyway, he responded like only Gary could. He gave me the remaining paint left over from spraying the real XK180 Paris Motor Show car. This Teal Gold Flip-Mica paint was used to spray the 50 club models. Depending on the light, or direction the real car, or model is viewed, it can look either Metallic Green or Metallic Blue, through Gold. Gary also supplied the remaining off-cuts of leather from trimming the real XK180 interior. This was in Green and White. Each of the 50 models were sold with a piece of each colour leather included.

2000
We produced a very special Lightweight E-type, better known as the 'Lost Lightweight'. This E-type was presumed missing and gone forever. It only raced twice, at the Laguna Seca 50 mile race, and the Sebring 12 hour race. At Laguna it raced with the No.423, and at Sebring it had race No.23 driven by Ed Leslie and Frank Morrill.
I would like to thank at this stage, Michael Frank a JMC member. He passed on the details of Ed Leslie from California, USA. He drove the Lightweight, and when I contacted Ed about signing the bases, he said he would be delighted. I asked about Frank, but Ed hadn't talked with Frank Morrill for many, many years. Surprise, surprise, Ed contacted me some weeks later. He had traced Frank, and they both supplied their valuable signatures to the club bases.

2001
This year we are producing a very important Jaguar, and landmark in motor sport. It will be a Jaguar C-type, driven by Sir Stirling Moss OBE.

The C-type in question XKC005, will be from the 1952 Reims race in France.
Stirling Moss drove Tommy Wisdom's personal car to victory. And this was also the very first win on Disc Brakes ( Dunlop ) by a racing car. The C-type was Pastel Green and carried the race No.50, and the registration : MDU212. I am very pleased to announce that Sir Stirling Moss OBE will sign the bases of this model.
