I photographed this Black Le Mans 7 litre coupe at the Yorkshire Jaguar Day at Harewood House, Leeds UK in 1989. In one of the photo's you can see my Gold MKII, 768 XVO in the background. This mighty XJS had a price tag when new of around 167,000 but for your money you got super car performance and some. This Lister XJS arrives at 60mph in 4.4 seconds with 0-100mph in only 10.8 seconds and a top speed of 200mph+. Twin Albrecht superchargers and 604bhp will scare the living daylights out of you but I should imagine the vented four pot callipers and massive 18 inch rubber will keep you on the Black stuff and not in the hedge !!. Because these cars were developed so much from a standard XJS, a lot of parts were of course changed like digital fuel injection, enlarged fuel tanks and a clutch from a Ferrari Testarossa. This Monster XJS has G-force acceleration nearing any F1 car and today you can buy one for around 20,000 ( 2003 ).  The Red car is the photograph shown in the Lister Cars sales brochure.
