The Jaguar Specialists
Association

Brief history

In recent years there has been an enourmous increase in the popularity of classic and special interest Jaguars.

This has been followed by large scale increases in the value of older Jaguar models and while this has made the restoration of many cars financially practical, it has also encouraged the appearance of ever-more firms purporting to offer specialist services to owners.

It was to safeguard owners interests and to maintain high standards of service appropriate to a prestige make that the Jaguar Specialists Association was formed in 1979 - probably the first such one-make trade association of its kind.

JSA slogan

Setting the standard

Protecting the customer

The Jaguar Specialists Association was formed primarily to protect the customer. Any Jaguar is a specialist car and is enevitably costly to restore and maintain, and owners therefore need an assurance that the work or parts they pay for are to an appropriate standard.

Using a JSA member ensures that the very necessary specialist knowledge is available and that fair prices will be charged for work carried out and parts supplied. The Association monitors standards and in the rare event of a complaint, will thoroughly investigate the matter and will do everything within its power to assist the customer to achieve a satisfactory conclusion.

There are strict entry qualifications for JSA membership. The company must have been operating satisfactorily for a number of years and must have a proven recoed of competence.

Your Jaguar is a fine car which deserves the best attention. The JSA does not claim that all non-member companies are untrustworthy but why 'take risks'?
